We provide images for educational use and, if requested, commercial licensing. Here is how it works:
Educational licensing is free, but it requires prior verification. Only people that belong to an existing educational institution – a school, a university or an institute – are approved, which is verified via emails to their mail server. Every license is individual and cannot be transferred. This status is subject to verification every 12 months.
Commercial licensing – for media, publishers or any other kind of commercial use – we use either the more simple royalty-free (RF) model – where pricing is linked to the image resolution required – or the rights-managed (RM) model, where the user needs to specify what the image is going to be used for.
